OLYMPIA LEPOINT WINS THE IRWIN AWARD AT LOS ANGELES TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS

On April 23, 2023, Olympia LePoint wins the IRWIN Award for her Answers Unleashed® educational science book series. The I.R.W.I.N. Award stands for Industry Recognition of Writers In the News Award, named after the late Hollywood Publicist Irwin Zucker, who led the Book Publicists of Southern California organization for nearly 50 years.

Irwin Zucker mentored Olympia LePoint for over 10 years as LePoint wrote her books. The late Irwin Zucker was a book promoter for over 60 years representing Zsa Zsa Gabor, Norman Vincent Peale, Helen Gurley Brown, and other Hollywood celebrities as the founder of Irwin Zucker’s Promotion in Motion. In 1976, Irwin Zucker founded The Book Publicist of Southern California, an organization that bestows the IRWIN Award. 

Hailed “The New Einstein” by her fans and named the “Modern Day Hidden Figure” by People Magazine and Newsweek, Olympia LePoint is an award-winning rocket scientist, TED speaker and celebrity author who is helping audiences overcome fear with science, her personal story and trail-blazing faith.

Olympia LePoint’s first book Mathaphobia, helps readers overcome their fears of math, so they succeed in their STEM education. The book contents are shared on PBS, on NBC News, CBS News, and in her TEDx Talk “Reprogramming Your Brain To Overcome Fear” which has exceeded 1 million views.

Her second book, Answers Unleashed, helps readers overcome painful memories and chaotic life situations to unlock the power of the brain for science innovation using a science theory she defines as “The Triabrain Theory of Relativity.” The book and its theory is shared in a talk at California State University Northridge, on the TV show “Impact Theory”, and on “Motivation2Study” which has gained nearly 2 million online views.

Olympia LePoint’s third book, Answers Unleashed II: The Science of Attracting What You Want, introduces a new decision-making science method called, Quantum Deciding® .
